Photography, events and spiders....

So as long as I remember I've loved to take photos of anything, everything and everybody. That said I love to do a lot of things so I kind of put “photography” on the back burner and replaced it with taking pictures of “events” in life for scrapbooking purposes.

Well last year my friend Sam sandravanphotography.com who is an exceptional artist and photographer asked me to assist her in doing a wedding this September. I accepted. Well September came and I helped....I was her assistant so I basically helped to get things done and took a few extra shots on the side for her. I used her Cannon  -EOS Rebel XSi

Here is the info on it.
.... For stunning photography with point and shoot ease, look no further than Canon’s EOS Rebel XSi. The EOS Rebel XSi brings staggering technological innovation to the masses. It features Canon’s EOS Integrated Cleaning System, Live View Function, a powerful DIGIC III Image Processor, plus a new 12.2-megapixel CMOS Sensor and available in a kit with the new EF-S 18–55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens with Optical Image Stabilizer. The EOS Rebel XSi’s refined, ergonomic design includes a new 3.0-inch LCD monitor, compatibility with SD and SDHC Memory cards and new accessories that enhance every aspect of the photographic experience.

I really, really enjoyed using.

So she has two other wonderful cameras and her third camera that I had used she was looking to sell. After I used it for the day I wanted to keep using it. So I took it off her hands for a very good deal! Thank you Sam.
I've been crazy busy of late and haven't yet got to use it as I want to.

If you follow me on twitter you may of seen one of my first touts about a little spider that made a home in the driver's side mirror (Brad got rid of that one) . . . but that was the beginning of my spider obsession. The other day I went out on the roof and found an itsy bitsy spider which I took a picture of...now earlier today I seen a spider who was making some fly stew which I just had to take a few shots of with my new camera....this is the beginning of the spiders I will share with you.

Will he last a 2 hour car ride?....gripping info on the spider saga! Survived the car wash and the drive to Woodstock and was on his way back to Sussex when BRAD knocked him off the car in the Tims! UGH!!! http://www.tout.com/m/m89rob?ref=tw9xnnkj (Highlight and right click if you want to meet the first little one)

I'm hoping they will get bigger and mightier in the spider quest...
I'm not a pro but I do appreciate a good picture!

I hope you'll enjoy the photos I post!
