WrestleMania
A day before WrestleMania Nattie decides to spill to her co-workers telling everyone that Nikki used to be married. Everyone is shocked at the news and shocked that Nattie told. Not sound judgment, some things just need to come from the horse’s mouth.
Eva Marie is nervous because she’s doing her very first signing by herself. Fans are so mean sometimes. Yes she is new, yes she is inexperienced but really do you have to mention that to her. Do you really think she doesn’t already know that and is freaking out? Seriously try encouraging her. The girl is amazing and will go places so be nice to the Superstar!
Nattie hosts the WrestleMania Kickoff and does a great job interviewing the Superstars of WWE. She even got to interview hubby, Tyson Kidd, they’re such a cute couple.
Summer Rae tells Emma that even though she wasn’t invited to Brie’s wedding, she still got her a gift. She has begun to regret the things she’s said and done and wants to start making amends. Being uninvited to the wedding and excluded entirely by the other Divas has really gotten to her. Perhaps next season we will see a new Summer Rae.
Eva Marie is having a bit of a meltdown backstage. She doesn’t know if she’s going to be able to do this. Nattie wisely comforts Eva Marie telling her that she’s is extremely lucky, that she is proud of her and she has her back.
The Undertaker, who had a 21-year winning streak, loses his match. I would like to take the opportunity to say on behalf of Paul Heyman: His Client Brock Lesnar conquered the streak and I called it!
That’s a hard match to follow. The Divas enter the ring for a Battle Royal style match. It’s a great match; The Divas are wonderful in all their glory. The reigning champion, AJ Lee, ends up defeating all of the other Divas to retain the Divas Championship. The Divas are still delighted with WrestleMania and share a group hug as they start to think wedding!
Ariane and Vinny
Trinity, Ariane and Vinny get into a discussion about love and marriage, then Trinity mentions that she’s never heard Ariane say “I love you” to Vinny. Ariane can’t change the subject quick enough but not before she admits that it’s really hard for her to say I love you. She reveals she has never said I love you to a guy before. , Ariane takes her Mom and Vinny out for dinner. Ariane says “I love you” to her Mom, Vincent notes she does say I love you to some people. Her Mom let’s her know that Vinny should be hearing that, Ariane cries.
At the reception, Ariane takes Vinny to look at the rocks and say: I Do Love You! Mr. Hopelessly Romantic Vinny gets teary-eyed!
Secrets out again
Nikki and John are with her mother and brother JJ. When Nikki goes to the restroom, JJ comments to John that he is amazed he is being so cool with the fact that Nikki was previously married. Ooops, JJ here’s another little secret Nikki didn’t actually tell John, you just did. John quickly exits when Nikki returns. Later when they are out on a dinner date John is totally off and he asks her if she has anything to tell him, of course she doesn’t. It’s a tremendously awkward meal and Nikki has no idea how to fix the situation.
The awkward continues at the rehearsal dinner when Nikki’s grandmother and uncle ask when she and John are getting married, she laughs it off, but secretly is worried that once John knows the truth, they could be over.
It’s the wedding day, JJ is chatting with Brie and Nikki while everyone is getting ready for the wedding, mentioning he told John he was amazed how cool he was with everything. Now everyone is mad, Nikki with JJ for mentioning it, JJ and Brie because Nikki lied again, Mother of the bride because her three children are fighting again. Nikki wants to talk to John as soon as possible but she has to wait until after the ceremony is over. During dinner Nikki pulls John and to her surprise John tells her that he isn’t angry about the fact that she was married once before. He just wants to be included and hear things directly from her and not from other people. Goofy John asks her to keep him somewhere on the totem pole of people that she tells things to, while making “totem pole” faces. Nikki is ecstatic and promises to never keep a secret from him again they kiss and go back to the festivities!
The Wedding
It’s time for the ceremony to begin! Let’s make this about Brie and Bryan and not Nikki.
The wedding party was completed by Josie! The setting is beautiful, Brie is beautiful and everything is perfect. Brie and Bryan read their vows they have written. Bryan says this is the happiest he has ever been, even John Mr. Anti-Marriage sheds a tear! We are introduced to Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Danielson. The Wedding, the reception and dinner suit Brie and Bryan perfectly and their guest are having the time of their life.
Everyone is dancing and Brie and Bryan are lifted into the air by their friends.
Brie at one point said Nikki was the worst Maid of Honor in the history of Maids of Honor and I have to at least partly agree. Nikki brings drama where ever she goes and often becomes the center of attention. However, despite the dramatic, the day was wonderful. Brie couldn’t be happier with her husband, family and friends. Their wedding was what they wanted and the people that were important in their life were there to celebrate their special moment with them.
Such a sweet close to Season 2, now we wait for September and season 3.
